AI-Powered Energy Optimization System
This project blended my expertise in economics, information technology, and full-stack software development to create a solution that addressed one of Saudi Aramco’s core challenges: optimizing energy production and consumption to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
At the heart of the solution was an artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm capable of analyzing vast amounts of data from Saudi Aramco’s energy production and consumption systems. The AI algorithm was designed to identify patterns and make predictions, allowing the company to optimize its energy use, reduce waste, and improve efficiency. This, in turn, had a direct impact on Saudi Aramco’s bottom line, reducing costs and increasing profit margins.
On the software development side, I leveraged my skills as a senior full-stack developer to oversee the creation of a user-friendly interface for the system. This involved developing a web application that allowed Saudi Aramco’s staff to easily monitor and control the energy optimization system, as well as a mobile app for remote access and control.
The successful completion of this project not only demonstrated the power of AI in transforming the energy sector but also reinforced my belief in the potential of interdisciplinary collaboration to solve complex, real-world problems.
Description
Saudi Aramco
June 2022 - May 2023
In an era of digital transformation, Saudi Aramco, one of the world's leading integrated energy and chemical companies, sought to enhance its operational efficiency and sustainability efforts through innovative technologies.
From June 2022 to May 2023, I had the privilege of leading a team to design and implement an AI-powered energy optimization system for the company.
